Production of T4's is an incredibly restricted process. The only particularl dangerous T4's are the sorceror and druid T4's.ģ.

Muskets can kill just about anything given numbers. Even standard pikemen can run down manticores in numbers. You can easily overrun a T4 stack with sheer numbers provides you're moving in formation. For equivalent cost you can get MANY t1-2 units, or some T1-2 with a T3 mixed in. Champion is a flat 10 hp bonus to each, meaning that a t1 unit, that takes a single turn to build, can get up to the HP value of a T4 unit before a T4 unit can go from unranked to gold. Let alone the myriad buildings that accelerate this process. T1 pikemen can level up well past gold by the time a t4 even reaches bronze.

They level up, and thus champion rank up slower. Each and every single one has at least one crippling weakness, if not more, and they are massively expensive.ġ. Yes, they are, per slot, the strongest unit, but the price tags on them are many times higher than the value recieved from them. T4's are not even remotely cost effective. Especially after the latest round of nerfs basically crippled them. I keep seeing the same "t4 units are overpowered/unfun" arguments, even this long after the game came out.
